'Toy Story 5' trailer: Woody, Buzz and Jessie to save toys from tech

Disney and Pixar released a new trailer for "Toy Story 5."

The voice cast includes Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Joan Cusack who reprise their iconic roles as Woody, Buzz and Jessie.

Greta Lee is the voice of Lilypad. Conan O'Brien is the tech toy Smarty Pants, Tony Hale is the beloved Forky, Craig Robinson as Atlas, a GPS hippo toy; Shelby Rabara as the camera toy Snappy; Scarlett Spears as 8-year-old Bonnie; Mykal-Michelle Harris as Blaze, and Matty Matheson as the tech-fearing toy Dr. Nutcase.

John Ratzenberger voices Hamm, the wisecracking piggybank. Wallace Shawn is Rex, the tyrannosaurus rex toy; Blake Clark is Slinky Dog; Jeff Bergman and Anna Vocino are Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head. Annie Potts voices Bo Peep; Bonnie Hunt plays Dolly, Melissa Villaseñor voices Karen Beverly, Bonnie's homemade toy, John Hopkins plays Mr. Pricklepants; Kristen Schaal is the triceratops toy Trixie; Ernie Hudson is Combat Carl; and Keanu Reeves plays Canadian daredevil toy Duke Caboom.

According to the official synopsis, "The toys are back and this time, Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the gang's jobs are challenged when they come face-to-face with Lilypad (voice of Greta Lee), a brand-new tablet device that arrives with her own disruptive ideas about what is best for their kid, Bonnie. Will playtime ever be the same?"

In the trailer, seen in the video player above, Jessie confronts Lilypad saying, "Me and the toys have been working all summer to try and get Bonnie to make friends, but then YOU had to ruin it."

She puts a call out to Woody. He admits, "Toys are for play but tech is for everything" as Jessie laments that she's losing Bonnie to "this device."

Later in the trailer, Buzz says, "Our mission on this planet is to make a child happy!"

"Toy Story 5" is directed by Academy Award winner Andrew Stanton, co-directed by Kenna Harris and produced by Lindsey Collins.

And Randy Newman is back to score his fifth "Toy Story" feature.

"Toy Story 5" is in theaters June 19.
