It's the final installment in a beloved Marvel trilogy, and fans just found out that "VisionQuest" is debuting a day early on Disney+.
On Tuesday, Oct. 13, we reunite with Vision in the final series of his story, his journey and -- as you're about to find out -- his family.
"WandaVision has a very unique tone," said Paul Bettany, who has been playing the character Vision for more than 11 years. "'Agatha All Along' also had its own unique energy, but 'VisionQuest' is absolutely its own thing."
Here, we find Vision as a father.
Ruaridh Mollica is new to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as his son, Thomas Maximoff.
"It's so thrilling," said Mollica. "I can't believe it. It's so exciting."
Bettany added, "He's so great. The whole lesson here is that family is forever. I think Vision finds his full power when he accepts that."
James Spader returns as the ultra-villain, Ultron.
"It just feels so much like me at this point," he said with a laugh.
Writer/Director Terry Matalas is also new to the Marvel Universe, tasked with the vision of bringing this story home.
"It's an honor really to be able to close out that chapter and and hopefully open new doors for new chapters with this strange AI Maximoff family," said Matalas.
"The show is so funny, and so moving, and so emotional, and so surprising, and so unique, and so original and innovative and imaginative," said Spader. "It's what entertainment should always be."
"The whole thing is so beautiful, but with lasers and fighting and jokes," said Bettany. "A lot of jokes."
"I think it's such a beautiful finale," Mollica added.
The first two episodes of Visionquest premiere at 6 p.m. ET on Disney+.
The Walt Disney Co. is the parent company of Disney+ and this ABC station.
