Takeaway of the Day
Temperatures are cooling considerably today, with parts of the region 5-15 degrees cooler than yesterday. Fog and cloud cover will persist at the coast throughout the evening with overnight lows dropping into the 50s.

A Look Ahead
Tomorrow will start off with some light rain for parts of the Bay Area, but skies will clear by the late morning. Temperatures continue to cool throughout the weekend and stay cool for early next week. A warming trend will begin at the end of next week. Hazardous conditions are expected at the coast this weekend into early next week. A Beach Hazards Statement goes into effect Saturday morning and remains in effect through 2 p.m. Monday. A Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect until 4 p.m. Wednesday.
