Ke Huy Quan, Ginnifer Goodwin on voicing Zootopia 2

Ten years after first being transported to Zootopia - a city run by animals, for animals - audiences are now able to return with "Zootopia 2."

Returning with audiences are voice actors for Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps, Jason Bateman and Ginnifer Goodwin.

"I still can't believe I got the job in the first place 10 years ago," Goodwin said. She explained that his is "because I feel like it doesn't get better than this. Whatever it could be, I just wanted to be part of the family."

Joining the "Zootopia" family is Ke Huy Quan, playing Gary De'Snake.

"What's really special for me is I grew up watching Disney cartoons and animated films, and it has made a big impact in my childhood," said Quan. "Getting to be on this side, where I get to voice a character and be part of the family, where I know for sure that it's going to have an impact in the next generation's childhood, that is huge for me."

"Zootopia" and its sequel are among several Disney movies that explore what Goodwin described as "really mature, complicated, wise questions."

"The first movie was about, like, bigger picture, preconceived notions and bias," Goodwin said. "The second movie is about, like, our intimate relationships and, like, those differences, the dynamics between people/animals."

Quan continued, explaining how the movie tackles the idea of togetherness.

"It's got more heart, and it's also not just recognizing the differences, but embracing each other's differences," said Quan. "The world is a much better place when we're together. Or, as they say in Zootopia, Zoo-gether."
