Pi Kappa Phi and Lambda Chi Alpha suspended at Philadelphia school

PHILADELPHIA -- Drexel University is taking additional action as investigations continue into allegations of sexual misconduct and hazing involving two fraternities.
The school has now temporarily paused all undergraduate student organization events involving alcohol or the induction of new members.
The move follows the suspension of Pi Kappa Phi and Lambda Chi Alpha as the university investigates the allegations.

"Drexel is committed to maintaining a safe learning environment for all students," the university said in a statement. "The University does not tolerate sexual misconduct or hazing."
School officials said Drexel investigates all reports of sexual misconduct and hazing under its student conduct policies and provides students with support resources and multiple avenues for reporting potential violations, including an anonymous tip line.
The university said its Student Conduct Office, Office of Civil Rights Compliance and Drexel Police are actively reviewing the allegations and determining next steps.
