'The Mob' brings celebrity competition to Hulu
For those who love "The Traitors," the same producers have a new reality competition series heading to Hulu.
"The Mob," hosted by Parker Posey, puts celebrity contestants through mob movie-inspired challenges in an Italian villa to win up to $250,000 in cash prizes.
In each episode, the group selects a Don, who has the power to decide “who makes money, who stays and who gets whacked,” or sent home.
The cast includes Willam Belli ("RuPaul's Drag Race"), Demi Engemann ("The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives"), Maria Georgas ("Bachelor" Nation), Joe Gorga ("The Real Housewives of New Jersey"), Harry Jowsey ("Let's Marry Harry"), Chelsea Lazkani ("Selling Sunset"), Debi Mazar ("Younger"), Bella Palk ("Love Overboard"), Shane Parton ("Bachelor" Nation), Romeo (rapper), Bruno Tonioli ("Dancing With the Stars") and Aida Turturro ("The Sopranos").
Entertainment reporter Joelle Garguilo spoke with several cast members about the new series and what viewers can expect.
They talked about the drama, the chaos, the competition, the lies and the backstabbing.
The contestants reflected on filming in Italy and shared their impressions of host Parker Posey.
“She was so cool," they agreed.
"The Mob" premieres Monday on Hulu, with new episodes dropping weekly.
The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of Hulu, Disney+ and this ABC station.
