Close encounter caught on video as shark swims near surfers in California

OCEANO, Calif. -- A large shark was spotted swimming near surfers off the coast of Oceano, California, on Wednesday morning, video shows.

The footage shows the shark swimming close to multiple surfers in the water.

At one point, the shark splashes a surfer with its tail before making a sharp U-turn and swimming away.
