Forward progress stopped at fire near I-280 in San Mateo Co.
Forward progress has been stopped after a 4-alarm fire broke out in San Mateo County Saturday, authorities said. Lanes were initially shut down on both sides of I-280 between Farm Hill Boulevard and Edgewood Road after a car fire quickly spread to nearby vegetation.
