Takeaway of the Day
This Memorial Day has been gusty and chilly with intervals of clouds and sun. At 4 p.m., wind gusts ranged from 25 to over 30 miles per hour, and it was generally 4 to 7 degrees cooler than at the same time yesterday -- upper 50s at the coast, mid 60s near the bay, and upper 60s inland.
Tonight we can expect winds to diminish a bit, although remaining "breezy," but winds will intensify again tomorrow morning.
A Look Ahead
Tomorrow will begin with similar conditions to what we experienced this morning -- lingering clouds, patchy drizzle, breezy and cool. We'll see sunnier skies in the afternoon, but it will be only slightly milder than today, with highs ranging from mid 50s at the coast to mid 60s near the bay, to lower 70s inland.
The middle of the week will bring a sunnier and warmer pattern, followed by a sharper increase in temperatures over the weekend and into early next week.
