PHOTOS: FBI conducting investigation at home of Subway's Jared Fogle

Tuesday, July 7, 2015
Authorities were at the scene of Subway's Jared Fogle's house Tuesday, WRTV reports.
Fogle became the restaurant chain's pitchman after shedding 245 pounds more than 15 years ago. His story helped give the chain an image as a healthy place to eat.
Reports say Fogle was detained while electronics were removed from the home and analyzed inside a mobile forensics van Tuesday morning.
The home was also searched with a police dog.
Agents raided the home, removing electronics from the property, AP reports.
Neighbors, who confirmed the raid, said the family entertained frequently and would say hello but that they didn't see the couple outside a lot.
The investigation comes in the wake of a child porn probe for the former director of Fogle's foundation.
Fogle's foundation, the Jared Foundation, works to fight childhood obesity.
The former director, Russell C. Taylor, was charged in early May with seven counts of production and one count of possession of child pornography.
Fogle was not implicated and immediately cut ties with Taylor.
Officials with the U.S. Attorney's Office, who are also on the scene, refused to comment on the nature of the investigation at Fogle's home.
FBI spokeswoman Wendy Osborne confirmed to the Indianapolis Star that the agency was conducting a criminal investigation in the area, but she would not comment further.
