Project Runway's Estrada twins take us inside their home studio

ARMONK, N.Y. -- Jesus and Antonio Estrada, also known as the tornado twins, are a whirlwind of creativity, love and resilience on Season 21 of Project Runway.

"I never imagined in a million years that I'd be doing Project Runway again", says Jesus, who first appeared on Season 7 over a decade ago.

For Antonio, the journey has been a long time coming - close to 15 years of auditions before he finally got the call that he was in. But like the business they run together, the twins couldn't imagine not competing on the new season together.

"Suddenly, Im getting a call like, 'Your twin brother wants to do the show," Jesus laughs. "And I'm like, 'This is your time to shine."

But Antonio said, 'I want to do it with you!"

Now, the dynamic duo is redefining what it means to collaborate in fashion and showing off their talents on Season 21 of Project Runway. "We don't compete with each other. I want him to be better than me so I can learn from him and same with him," says Antonio.

The Estrada twins home base is their atelier in Armonk, New York, "This shop is our sanctuary", says Jesus. "We manifested this for ten years!"

They started out designing bat mitzvah dresses and, "From there, it was word of mouth that we became the hottest bat mitzvah dress designers in New York City!" said Jesus.

Their business exploded from then on, earning them a spot at Bergdorf Goodman, and now, a return to the Project Runway spotlight.

For the Estrada twins, fashion is a calling. "We love making people feel beautiful," says Antonio. "And it's so beautiful to wake up and do a job that doesn't feel like work but feels like a passion!"
