Nightmare in New Hope is bringing the creepy side of Hollywood to PA

New Hope, Pa -- Nightmare in New Hope is bringing the creepy side of Hollywood to Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Owner Joseph Gioconda started collecting props and costumes from movies and television shows for over 25 years. "I believe that movies and television shows are the new, most accessible art form for really everyone," he explains. "I think people have really distinct memories of them."

Being a huge fan of horror movies, Joseph wanted to share his horror collection with the public so he opened Nightmare in New Hope a year ago. "I wasn't able to share them in person," he says. "I thought it might be fun to share them with people, fellow fans. And what I found was people were really starving for that experience. There is very little out there like this."

In the gallery, he has props from horror classics like "Friday the 13th," "The Conjuring," "Scream" and many more. Theres a gift shop on site and when visitors make a purchase they gain access to the gallery, otherwise its a $10 entrance fee.
