KINGWOOD, Texas -- What began as a small idea to teach kids how to sew in local libraries has grown into a thriving nonprofit shaping the lives of children.
The Creativity Shell, founded in 2015, has always had one mission: to empower children and teenagers through creativity. Over the years, that mission has expanded far beyond stitching seams. Today, the organization offers hands-on programs in sewing, cooking, arts, and crafts.
ABC13 Localish visited the organization's new space to see what students were creating.
The Creativity Shell is located at 3939 Glade Valley Drive in Kingwood. For more information on the programs offered, click here.
