How I got Pedro Pascal to notice me at the 'Fantastic Four' premiere

VALLEY VILLAGE, LOS ANGELES -- A nail salon in Los Angeles is creating manicures fit for a red carpet!

I work as a producer for On The Red Carpet, so it's my job to know everything about everything when it comes to celebrities, and one of my favorites is Pedro Pascal! My friends and I adore him. I mean, who doesn't love Pedro Pascal, right?

I couldn't be more excited when I was asked to cover the premiere of his latest film, Marvel's "The Fantastic Four: First Steps," and I devised a plan to catch Pedro's attention!

If you're a Pedro fan and you've spent any time endlessly scrolling through your social feeds (as I have), you may notice he's a bit of a "nails guy," going to the lengths of pausing an interview just to admire a gorgeous manicure. And I figured, "Hey, if there's one way to catch his attention on a busy carpet, it'll be through an eye-catching set of nails."

The first step for me was visiting Blush Nail Bar in Valley Village, a Los Angeles neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley.

"I love art, and I enjoy the process. When I'm doing art, I'm painting something on the nail," said Armineh Keshishian, a nail technician who has been working at Blush for five years.

I scoured the internet for a nail salon, and it was clear that Blush valued the intricacy and detail I was looking for in a manicure. Working with Keshishian, we developed a plan for the nails based on inspiration pictures and details taken directly from the "Fantastic Four" posters.

She helped me choose colors, rhinestones and 3-D details, and in just over an hour, I had a "Fantastic Four"-themed nail set I knew Pascal wouldn't be able to resist.

The next day, the On The Red Carpet team made our way to the world premiere and waited for a moment with the star.

Just as he was wrapping our interview, we captured his attention.

"They're beau-ti-ful!" said Pascal.

"The best artists!" I responded.

"One day I'm going to break out, I'm going to start doing it, because look at these ugly things! I got a very nice (manicure). I got them cleaned up. It's the least I could do, but one of these days, I'm just gonna be like," he said as he turned around and flashed his hand to the camera.

It's safe to say the nails were fantastic!
