Takeaway of the Day
Day 2 of our Memorial Day Weekend began with widespread low clouds, patchy morning drizzle, and below-average temperatures. As the afternoon approached, however, skies became mostly sunny away from the coast, but temperatures remained cooler than average for late May. We have also had a breezy-to-windy day with wind speeds generally about 10 to 25 miles per hour. Highs ranged from the upper 50s at the coast to near 70 around the bay shoreline to mid-70s inland. The cooling marine layer will deepen and spread inland again overnight, along with widespread patchy drizzle, which will linger into the early morning hours
A Look Ahead
Tomorrow, Memorial Day, will feature lingering morning clouds and a few patches of drizzle, and once again it will be breezy and cooler than average. However, the afternoon will bring mostly skies to inland areas and a mix of sun and clouds around the bay and near the coast.High temperatures will be in the upper 50s at the coast, upper 60s near the bay, and mid-70s inland. The middle of the week will bring a sunnier and warmer pattern.
