Takeaway of the Day
Today is the last day of the heat. The Heat Advisory will expire at 10 p.m. for the Bay Area. Overnight lows will drop into the 50s and 60s. Patchy fog is expected at the coast overnight.

A Look Ahead
Temperatures cool down considerably tomorrow into the weekend. Next week is also looking cool, especially in the morning. Coastal flooding is a possibility during high ties and large swell this weekend. A Coastal Flood Advisory goes into effect Friday and remains in effect through Thursday for the San Francisco Bay. A Beach Hazards Statement goes into effect Saturday and remains in effect until Monday for San Francisco.
