Boat rescue of Fairfield couple turns tragic for family trying to help

FAIRFIELD, Calif. (KGO) -- What was supposed to be a relaxing vacation for a Fairfield couple, turned into a dramatic ordeal, when they became involved in a water rescue in Maine.

The couple asked for some help from a family who was on the other side of the river. That's when things took a turn for the worst.
