
OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- The person who died in a double hit-and-run crash in Oakland Sunday night has been identified.
The Alameda County Coroner's office identified the crash victim as 18-year-old Arif Mohammed from New York City.
Mohammed was the passenger in a Zipcar rental that crashed into another vehicle south of the Lincoln Avenue exit at around 10:30 p.m. Sunday.
According to the CHP, the Zipcar became disabled, but the other car drove away.

Two people, including Mohammed, got out of the Zipcar when Mohammed was hit and killed by a car that swerved to avoid the vehicle.
That car also took off.

The driver of the Zipcar wasn't injured.
Investigators have not released any information about the cars that left the crash.
