D23 Recap: Harrison Ford, Jamie Lee Curtis, Kelly Ripa honored as Disney legends

Country singer Lainey Wilson introduced Miley Cyrus as the youngest Disney Legend ever.

Wilson shared her love of "Hannah Montana," the Disney show that Cyrus starred in.

She then sang, "The Best of Both Worlds," in honor of the Disney star.

Onstage, Cyrus said she's definitely going to cry and shared that it's okay to be afraid.

"It's legendary to be afraid and do it anyway," she said. "There's no such thing as failure as long as you try."

Pixar Chief Creative Officer Pete Docter introduced Frank Oz, the iconic puppeteer, filmmaker, and actor.

"Everyone else got famous presenters, you're stuck with the guy who does the little animations," Docter joked.

As Oz took the stage he looked around and said, "I feel like I"m amongst friends."

He went on to say, "It's odd to stand here alone because no one does it themselves."

He thanked Jim Henson, George Lucas and Mark Hamill among others.

Oz shared that his parents were Holocaust survivors who later came to the U.S.

"I'm so amazed to think my brother and I played in bombed out buildings in Belgium," he said. "And then, 10 years later, played on Tom Sawyer Island."

Before walking off stage he shared a word of advice, "Don't hide who you are."

Director Rob Marshall is introducing new Disney Legend Colleen Atwood, comparing her to some of the greatest costume designers of all time.

He shared that she's been nominated for 12 Oscars and has won four.

Atwood is the first costume designer to be honored as a Disney Legend.

She told the crowd that she hopes to continue to bring magic, joy and hope through the beautiful work she does.

Producer James L. Brooks has created some of the most beloved movies and shows like "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," "The Simpsons," and "Terms of Endearment."

Homer, Marge, Bart and Lisa started off the segment that went into a montage of his work, and then welcomed Danny DeVito to the stage.

DeVito went over some of Brooks' biggest hits, including "Taxi."

"For all you Baby Yodas out there, a taxi is a yellow Uber," he said. "You order it by screaming."
