Family members are in mourning after two kids and their grandpa died in a Richmond house fire allegedly believed to be arson.

RICHMOND, Calif. (KGO) -- Family members are in mourning after two kids and their grandpa died in a Richmond house fire allegedly believed to be arson. The young girl died early Thursday morning at the hospital.

The children's uncle has been arrested and accused of setting the house on fire. Their mother is still in the hospital in critical condition.

Five-year-old Andrew and his two-year-old sister Joline died in the fire Tuesday night.

Their grandfather Jose Rivera also died. Those who knew him say he was an amazing father, brother, and friend. The main provider for the family who was always there for everybody, and adored by his kids and grandkids.

His daughter - and the children's mother - is now in the hospital in critical condition.

Their family members tell us they are heartbroken.

The children's uncle has been arrested in the case and now faces murder and arson charges.

According to investigators, Jose Rivera was pronounced dead on scene. An aunt says that Andrew died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital, and Joline passed at the hospital.

A GoFundMe has raised more than $25,000, money that will be used for the three funerals.

On Thursday night, a small private memorial was held outside the home with a handful of loved ones. Many are just trying to comprehend what exactly happened.
