Fashion designers identified as couple fatally shot inside Oakland Hills home, friends say

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- The couple who were found killed from an apparent shooting in the Oakland Hills near the UC Berkeley campus on Friday have been identified.

Friends and colleagues identified the couple to ABC7 Eyewitness News as Bryan Walker, 61, and Michelle Min, 63.

The couple were the creators behind the women's fashion brand "Bryn Walker."

On Sunday, neighbors of the couple who were shot and killed in their Panoramic Hill home held a community gathering to support one another.

Many brought flowers, cards and momentos and placed them in a makeshift memorial near the home.

Their bodies were found Friday morning after a double shooting.

The news has shocked many in the community.

"We wanted to be together. And we're from different parts of the hill. And we may not necessarily know Bryan and Michelle, but we felt it. We universally have talked to each other about how deeply unsettling it was," said neighbor Janice Thomas.

"Bryn Walker" based in Berkeley has about 1,000 boutiques nationwide.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, investigators have not ruled out the shooting as a possible murder-suicide.
