LARKSPUR, Calif. -- Classes were canceled Thursday at three high schools in Larkspur due to some sort of threat.
The schools are Redwood, San Andrewas and Tamiscal High Schools.
The Central Marin Police Authority says Redwood High School received a voicemail threatening the campus.
Staff at the school on Doherty Drive received a voicemail around 8 a.m. indicating a possible threat to the campus, and after contacting police, the decision was made to cancel classes for the day and close the campus.
Students were being sent home, and people are asked to avoid the area of the campus while police investigate.
Schools are expected to reopen Friday.
