A 41-year-old man has been charged with multiple felonies in connection with threats made against several schools in San Francisco, according to court records.
An Indiana high school student has been accused of plotting a mass shooting at a school near Indianapolis on Valentine's Day, local police said Thursday.
A new round of bomb threats have targeted three medical facilities and an unspecified fourth facility in Springfield, Ohio, on Saturday, officials said.
Initially, the caller reportedly stated that explosive devices had been placed throughout the school. He also said someone would be arriving shortly to shoot up the school, according to authorities.
Police in Palo Alto say that callers phoned in reports of a person with a rifle walking towards a high school and made a bomb threat Monday, which prompted a campus lockdown and investigation. The calls turned out to be hoaxes, police said.
Patrick Dai, a junior at Cornell who is originally from Pittsford, New York, was arrested on Tuesday on federal criminal complaint charging him with posting threats to "kill or injure another using interstate communications."
