Crews respond to 6-alarm building fire in Foster City, authorities say

FOSTER CITY, Calif. (KGO) -- San Mateo County firefighters are battling a large building fire in Foster City that quickly escalated to a 6-alarm response on Sunday.

The fire was first reported around 2:30 p.m. at 815 Sea Spray Lane.

Multuple ambulances have been dispatched to the scene but authorities have not given an update on any injuries or the cause of the fire.

Smoke from the fire could be seen from as far as Oakland.
