YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, Calif. -- A Colorado dad who climbed Yosemite's El Capitan with his seven-year-old son is speaking out.
Joe Evermore revealed that someone called Child Protective Services to question his parenting abilities.
Back in May, his son, Joey, set a record previously held by his nine-year-old brother.

Joe Evermore says CPS received multiple complaints, claiming he and his wife were putting their son in danger.
He says people who take issue with the danger involved do not have a background in climbing.
In the end, CPS declined to pursue the complaints.
