'Moana': Dwayne Johnson, Catherine Lagaʻaia star in new trailer

Disney has released an all-new trailer for the highly anticipated live action "Moana."

Catherine Lagaaia stars in the titular role, with Dwayne Johnson reprising his role as the demigod Maui.

Also reprising their role is Jemaine Clement, as the giant, glitz-obsessed crab Tamatoa. Rena Owen plays Moana's revered Gramma Tala, John Tui plays Moana's no-nonsense father, Chief Tui, and Frankie Adams plays Moana's playful and strong-willed mother, Sina.

Tickets are on sale now. The film sails exclusively into theaters July 10.

Like the Oscar-nominated animated adventure, "Moana answers the Ocean's call and, for the first time, voyages beyond the reef of her island of Motunui with the infamous demigod Maui on an unforgettable journey to restore prosperity to her people."

The film is directed by Thomas Kail and is backed by an all-star team of producers, including Dwayne Johnson, p.g.a., Beau Flynn, p.g.a., Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia, p.g.a. and Lin-Manuel Miranda; and it is executive produced by Scott Sheldon, Charles Newirth, Kail and Aulii Cravalho, who voiced Moana in the animated films "Moana" and "Moana 2."

The live action film will feature original songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Opetaia Foai and Mark Mancina, plus an original score composed by Mancina.

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of Walt Disney Studios and this ABC station.
