Disney's 'Hexed' spellbinds Henry Winkler, Dan Stevens, Ariana Madix and more stars to join
New trailer features the voices of Hailee Steinfeld, Rashida Jones, Jodie Foster, Walton Goggins, Tracey Ullman and Stephen Fry.
"It was foretold that an ordinary girl would become an extraordinary witch, and save the world of magic from evil." Walt Disney Animation Studios shares a new trailer for their original animated film, "Hexed."
"Hexed"is about an unconventional teenage girl named Billie Doe who discovers she has secret powers and finds herself on a journey in the witch realm, Hexe. Her mom, Alice, teams up with her daughter as they uncover family mysteries that could change the world of witches forever.
In the new "Hexed" trailer above, Billie is exposed as an "outsider" in Hexe. Alice encourages Billie to run before officials can capture her with handcuffs. Soon, Billie and Alice forge an uneasy alliance with Beef Roger Crummchuk, a reclusive and magical three-eyed cat.
The enchanting new coming of age movie features the voices of Hailee Steinfeld (Billie), Rashida Jones (Alice), Two-time Academy Award winner Jodie Foster (Queen Celeste), Walton Goggins (Beef Roger Crummchuk), Tracey Ullman (Ms. Quill) and Stephen Fry (Elias Quire).
Other newly announced cast members include Henry Winkler as Nigel, a skittish potoo bird who knows powerful secrets about the magical world of Hexe, as well as Dan Stevens as Hieronymous, Queen Celeste's self-important Grand Councilor of the Throne.
The cast also conjured the voices of Brett Gelman, Samson Kayo, Jimmy O. Yang, Ron Funches, Drew (McIntyre) Galloway, Cheri Oteri, Kathy Najimy, Wayne Knight, Alan Tudyk, Randall Park, Bill Farmer, Pat McAfee, Chris Parnell, Sarah-Nicole Robles, Rachel Dratch, Ariana Madix, Kellie Gerardi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Abraham Benrubi and Josh Dallas.
"Hexed" is directed by Fawn Veerasunthorn and Jason Hand, and co-directed by Josie Trinidad. Producers include Roy Conli and Yvett Merino, and "Hexed" is written by Walt Disney Animation Studios Chief Creative Officer Jared Bush and Dana Ledoux Miller.
Disney's "Hexed" opens exclusively in theaters just in time for Thanksgiving starting Nov. 25.
