IKEA announces solar panels to be sold in California stores, reduce company's climate footprint

IKEA announced that solar panels will soon be sold in its California stores.

They will be available to members of IKEA's customer loyalty program this fall.

The eco-friendly product fits the Swedish company's mission to reduce its overall climate footprint.

IKEA previously announced that it would buy back its used furniture in an effort to be more sustainable.
