The kids' animated sports-fantasy series from executive producer Lionel Messi will premiere globally on Disney+ in summer 2027.

LOS ANGELES -- Soccer is heading into a whole new digital dimension!
Fans at Comic-Con Málaga got the very first look at "Messi and the Giants," an upcoming animated series executive produced by sports icon Lionel Messi.
Voiced by Argentinian actor Milo Burgess-Webb, the teaser trailer begins with 12-year-old Leo getting sucked right through his computer screen and into a wild alternate reality ruled by giants. Along the way, viewers get a taste of the show's original music, including the new theme song "Vamos, Vamos, Vamos" by Argentinian artist Luck Ra.
Trapped in the fractured realms of "Iko" and unable to use the world's cheat-code powers, Leo must rely on teamwork and athletic skill to survive high-stakes, soccer-like battles and find his way home.
Fans can look forward to the series landing globally on Disney+ and airing on Disney Channel in the U.S. in summer 2027.
The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of Disney+, Disney Channel and this ABC Station.
