Olivia Rodrigo's new music festival coming to Irvine this August

IRVINE, Calif. -- Pop star Olivia Rodrigo announced a female-driven music festival on Monday, and it's set for Irvine's Great Park later this summer.

The Daisy Chain Fields festival will feature an all-star, all-women lineup with artists from across many decades -- including Chappell Roan, Stevie Nicks, Garbage, Doechii, and of course, Rodrigo, plus many more. In total, 14 performances are planned across two stages.

The one-day festival is set for Aug. 29.

Rodrigo wrote on social media that the music festival is a dream come true for her, and the show will be filled with her heroes and friends.

"I firmly believe that joy, community, and music can be the drivers of meaningful change, and I'm hopeful this festival will be just that. I absolutely cannot wait to scream and dance and sing with you guys August 29th!!!!" she wrote.

One hundred percent of the net proceeds will go to charities dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls.

Fans can sign up for a presale passcode leading up to when the presale begins on Wednesday, June 24, at 10 a.m. A post-sale exclusively for Verizon customers is set for Thursday, July 9, at 10 a.m.

On Wednesday morning, Rodrigo will appear on "Good Morning America" for an exclusive interview with Diane Sawyer.
