Man shot and killed after argument outside Pleasant Hill bar ID'd by coroner's office

PLEASANT HILL, Calif. (KGO) -- The Contra Costa County Coroner's office identified the victim in a deadly shooting that happened outside of a Pleasant Hill bar Monday morning.

The victim has been identified as Oscar Laredo Arellano, 37, of Concord, the coroner says.

The suspect remains at-large, police say.

Police were called to the parking lot of Farrington's Bar just after 1 a.m.

Investigators say it appears a dispute inside the bar moved into the parking lot - where the shooting took place.

The suspect then took off.

The 37-year-old victim was shot in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
