AccuWeather Forecast: Level 2 storm moves into Bay Area overnight

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Monday marks the tail end of a parade of storms that have brought periods of heavy rain and some flooding to the San Francisco Bay Area over the last several days.

ABC7 News Meteorologist Drew Tuma says a Level 1 Storm on the Exclusive ABC7 News Storm Impact scale will move through the region today with scattered showers. The heaviest rain fell overnight.

The biggest impact on the region will be slick roads and slower travel times.

Rainfall totals throughout the day will be less than .25" for most.

Showers will depart the Bay Area after 7 pm. and we will dry out overnight. Our next chance of rain arrives Thursday but that too will just be a Level 1 storm
