The strongest winds Wednesday morning were over 70 mph in Marin County, which could be the reasons for power outages. Many cities were reporting winds in excess of 40 mph.

The storm is a level 2 on the ABC7 Exclusive Storm Impact Scale until 9 a.m. and will drop to a level 1 for the rest of the day.

There still may be a scattered shower Wednesday afternoon but the worst rain was in the morning. Winds will be much calmer this afternoon at less than 15 mph.
