
SUNNYVALE, Calif. (KGO) -- The man accused of intentionally crashing into eight people in Sunnyvale will make his first court appearance in Santa Clara County.
Isaiah Peoples faces eight counts of attempted murder. According to the court documents Peoples is being charged with using his car as a deadly weapons and with malice.

Peoples is an Army vet. He grew up in the East Bay, but currently lives in Sunnyvale. Police say that that Peoples has shown no sign of remorse.
A 13-year-old girl was the most severely injured and remains in critical condition. Another victim, Miguel Balbuena, returned to the site yesterday on crutches. He says he had seconds to get out of the way of Peoples car.

"It was just like two seconds that gave me. So I did a quick move and probably that's the thing that saved my life," said Balbuena.
Isaiah's family says that he suffers from PTSD, but police maintain that Isaiah showed no signs of any medical issues after the crash.
