Warfield Theatre security guard, father of 6 reportedly ID'd as man killed in SF shooting

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A man who was killed outside San Francisco's The Warfield Theatre over the weekend has been identified as a father of six who worked at the venue.

Mission Local reports that the victim was 47-year-old Ulysses Tykee Davis, who was known as "Bear." Davis worked as a security guard at the theater.

Police said the shooting occurred early Saturday morning around 1 a.m. outside The Warfield Theatre in the 900 block of Market Street.

Authorities have not said whether any arrests have been made. Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.

The investigation remains ongoing.
