Authorities say the 21-year-old was dancing on a couch and somehow fell out of a nearby window.

She then landed on the pool deck where a lounge chair may have broken her fall.

Sargent has several broken bones.

Her father says she knows she is lucky to be alive.

"As you can imagine, pretty badly beaten up, and we're lucky that she's alive and we're blessed," Richard Sargent said. "She's a good fighter and so she's going to be OK."
