Family of man who fell 11 stories in SF receives large outpouring of support

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Support for the family of a window washer who survived an 11-story fall from a building in San Francisco continues to mount.

Pedro Perez has been in the hospital since last month's accident.

His family says he's now talking and eating and faces extensive physical therapy.

The family had set up a GoFundMe page, hoping for just $20,000. Instead, it has raised more than $76,000.

More than 1,200 people have given.
