

SAN FRANCISCO -- A woman who was struck and killed Friday while riding an electric scooter on Market Street was identified by the San Francisco Medical Examiner's Office.

Yebin Kim, a 32-year-old woman from San Francisco, was identified as the victim of the collision.
On Friday at 8:18 a.m., San Francisco police responded to reports of a vehicle collision at Powell and Market streets.

At the scene, officers found Kim in the street and provided first aid until medical personnel arrived. She was pronounced dead on scene.
Police said the collision was between a standup electric scooter and a commercial vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was located and cooperated with the investigation.
