Romo joined CBS Sports in April 2017 after retiring from the NFL.

Broadcaster and former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is no longer employed at CBS Sports following his arrest earlier this summer for driving while intoxicated.
CBS Sports released a statement Friday, saying, "CBS Sports and Tony Romo have mutually agreed to part ways. We thank Tony for his contributions over the past nine years and wish him the best moving forward."
The network said former NFL star JJ Watt, who was announced as Romo's temporary replacement back in July, will "continue to partner with Jim Nantz and Tracy Wolfson on our lead NFL announce team for the rest of the season."
"All other teams remain the same, including Ian Eagle, Ross Tucker and Evan Washburn," the network added.
Romo was arrested in Milwaukee in July and later found guilty of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. A court later revoked his driving privileges for six months and ordered him to "attend and complete" an alcohol assessment program.
CBS Sports placed Romo on leave after the DWI incident.
