There is no timetable on the fix, but on Sunday St. Helena flushed 400,000 gallons of water through the system in an effort to fix the problem in the short-term.
"It was really concerning. The lagoon has always been a part of Alameda and as a lifelong resident we have always had some concerns about the water," said Julia Stevens, Alameda resident.

Measure R would raise $24 million for improvements for Bryon Union, a rural school district deep in eastern Contra Costa County.
The cost to fix Oakland Unified schools' drinking water lead contamination could be as much as $53 million -- money the district says it doesn't have.
OUSD says they found lead levels higher than their safety threshold of five parts per billion on 22 of their campuses.
