First responders in the Russian River Valley are urging visitors to use caution after two people drowned last week.

A five-year-old girl who died after being rescued at Martin's Beach in Half Moon Bay on Saturday has been identified.
The U.S. Coast Guard said the 5-year-old girl who was rescued after being swept out to sea on Saturday was pronounced dead at the hospital. This comes after the Coast Guard called off the search for a 54-year-old man who, along with the child, was swept off by a wave in Half Moon Bay.
