The defense has begun calling witnesses in the emotionally charged trial of Lindsay Clancy.
Brian Laundrie, whose remains were found in a Florida preserve more than a month after the death of his fiancée Gabby Petito, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, family attorney Steve Bertolino said Tuesday.
Stephen Bertolino, the attorney for the Laundrie family, spoke out on "Good Morning America," the day after Brian's remains were found in a Florida nature preserve.
In a statement, the FBI said it used dental records to identify the remains.
A former police chief called the events leading up to the discovery of human remains in a Florida reserve Wednesday, along with items belonging to Brian Laundrie, "quite strange."
The apparent human remains have not been identified, the FBI said Wednesday.
