A 22-year-old man who had just started a new job working security for the World Cup died after being struck by a driver while walking home, his family said.

Last summer, 24-year-old Manny Huizar was working at the Safeway when he was shot during an early morning robbery. "It was the last place he was there, it's something special," Manny's brother Guillermo Huizar said.
The man was identified as Jesus Contreras-Benitez. He was 47 years old and resided in Redwood City, according to the San Mateo County Coroner's Office.
