Mr. Ward: NorCal middle school teacher goes viral for incorporating fashion in his lessons

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A Northern California teacher is gaining national attention for the way he connects with his students.

Tom Ward is a 7th-grade history teacher based in Chico who uses fashion to teach his lessons.

He's built a following on TikTok and Instagram thanks to his daily "fit checks," inspired by the eras he teaches.

Ward was recently spotted in San Francisco serving up looks.

He stopped by our studio and spoke with our ABC7 Mornings team about the reaction to his videos.
