Takeaway of the Day
Today was a nice transitional day from cooler than average summer weather to warmer, more seasonal conditions. Skies were mostly sunny with high temperatures reaching into the mid-60s at the coast, mid-70s near the bay, and upper 80s to lower 90s inland. Heading into the evening hours, we can expect mostly clear skies with only a few clouds developing, as a building ridge of high pressure is producing a rather shallow marine layer, so we will have limited cloud cover overnight.
A Look Ahead
Tomorrow and Thursday will be our two warmest days of the week with highs several degrees above average. Cooler weather returns into the weekend.
