

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Stay safe! Strong, damaging winds will blow through the Bay Area today.
A Wind Advisory will be in effect from noon to 8 p.m. for the North Bay Mountains, East Bay Hills, Diablo Range, North Bay Coast, San Francisco, Peninsula, East Bay Valleys, Salinas Valley and Big Sur Coast.
ACCUWEATHER FORECAST: Strong winds across the Bay Area
Most of the Bay Area will experience winds in the range of 20-30 mph. Gusts up to 55 mph will whip through passes and peaks. The strongest winds are expected near the coast, through coastal gaps such as San Bruno Gap and passes such as Altamont Pass and Patterson Pass.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Winds will slowly ease late Monday night, but breezy conditions will continue through midweek.
