'The Remarried Empress' trailer drops for Hulu and Disney+ romantic epic series
The four-episode series premiere arrives Nov. 4, followed by two new episodes each Wednesday through Nov. 25 on Disney+ and Hulu
LOS ANGELES -- Empress Navier is ready to trade one crown for another in the new trailer for "The Remarried Empress," an upcoming romantic epic series adapted from the hit NAVER WEBTOON coming to Hulu and Disney+.
The trailer kicks off with a telling internal monologue: "For the first time, I began to wonder. Do I love my husband? I have never been certain of our love, but I've never doubted it either."
Based on the hit webtoon, the series follows Empress Navier of the Eastern Kingdom. When her husband, Emperor Sovieshu, falls for a runaway slave, their marriage shatters. Unwilling to lose her dignity, Navier agrees to a divorce under one condition: she gets to remarry Crown Prince Heinrey, the rival ruler of the Western Kingdom.
Packed with royal betrayal and drama, the trailer showcases the same tale of love, lust and regret that made the original web novel a hit.
"The Remarried Empress" debuts with a four-episode premiere on Nov. 4, with two new episodes rolling out each Wednesday through Nov. 25 on Disney+ and Hulu.
